SHERWIN-WILLIAMS COLOR ANTHOLOGY–THE POETRY OF REDS AND PURPLES
It’s time for the second color story of Sherwin-Williams’s 2024 Color Anthology. Appropriately timed for the month of Valentine’s Day, the poetry of reds and purples is the next harmony up for discussion.
Reds and purples may feel too colorful and bold for inside the home, but these are just the underlying tones showing in the popular terracotta hues.
“Reds grow ever warmer, purples are becoming more prominent, and both find alignment with the resurgence of near-brown hues in a palette that tips slightly toward muted terracotta and beige.”
– Sherwin-Williams ColorMix 2024 Anthology | Volume 1
These earthy and nature-inspired hues have converged into beautiful options such as Sherwin-Williams’s Redend Point, Wild Currant, Fireweed, Intuitive, Chinchilla, Soft Apricot, Habanero Chile, Dragon Fruit, and Sashay Sand, just to name a few.
