How To Transition Your Home For Fall
Fall tones are cozy and earthy and look great in your home year-round. If you’re a Fall-lover like most, it’s a great time of year for a big refresh in the look and feel of your space. Bringing colors like Sherwin-Williams’s Autumnal, Harvester, Butternut, Spicy Hue, Grounded, or Hot Cocoa into your home will give that homey feeling year-round. If you’re ready for a big change, visit our website to learn how we can help.
If you’re not ready to commit to a full-on paint color change, here are a few other ways to transition your home into the Fall season:
- Textures – Adding elements of texture is simple to do and has a huge impact. Think throw pillows and blankets strategically placed that are within the same color palette as your room, but offset the look with a different and pleasing texture.
- Lighting – Fall lighting is traditionally warmer, dimmer, and cozier. It’s the perfect environment to unwind from the day while you read a book, spend time with family, or watch your favorite show. Changing up your lighting from brighter whiter lights can benefit not only the look, but also the feeling you get in your home.
- Décor – The easiest Fall décor piece? Pumpkins! You can elect to buy real or fake ones and place them all around the inside and outside of your home to easily give that Fall feeling. Other great Autumn décor pieces include Fall-themed wreaths for your doors or dried flower arrangements for a rustic, country feel.
Seasonal Fun Around The Main Line
The Autumn season brings cooler weather, back to school days, and tons of Fall festivities for couples and families of all ages. There’s no shortage of festivals, pumpkin and apple picking, corn mazes, and hayrides going on around the Main Line. Project Spotlight
Malvern Interior Home Update
For this month’s Project Spotlight, we’re featuring a repeat home with new owners. The new homeowners moved to Malvern from California and were left notes of contractor recommendations from the prior owners. The prior owners were clients of ours and the Mike Jasinski Painting team came highly recommended.
Since we had refreshed much of this home not long ago, we just needed to update a few rooms based on the new homeowners’ preferences. We painted the walls in the entryway, front sitting room, dining room, bedrooms, in addition to the kitchen island. Colors used were from the Benjamin Moore collection and included: Manchester Tan HC-81, Palisades Park 439, Greenhow Blue CW-655, Spring Iris 1402, and Aganthus Green 472.
Just like the prior homeowners, the new family was highly pleased with our painting team’s communication, friendliness, and efficiency, as highlighted by their 5-star review included here.
"Highly recommend! Mike is communicative and super easy to work with. The painters were also friendly and efficient and the end result looks great. They were also accommodating when we needed to make a couple changes partway through the process. We love how everything turned out and would definitely work with them again!”
