How To Achieve A Timeless Home Style
Have you ever walked into a home and felt like you walked back in time?
It’s not uncommon that as the time and trends move on, some homes stay stuck in the past. So how do ensure that your home isn’t one of them? Here are some suggestions to keep your home classic no matter the era:
- Neutral paint colors – Bold choices and trends are fun, but they don’t always stand the test of time. Choosing within a neutral palate of grays, beiges, and whites is likely to give your home’s look more longevity. If you are a lover of colors, there are still options that fit a more classic look, such as deep navy hues, warm browns, or earthy greens.
- Consider clutter – Too many things in one space can feel crowded and dated. Opt for finding just the right balance of functional or decorative pieces so that the room can “breathe”.
- Look to nature – The best inspiration is free and all around us! Natural elements, such as wood floors and decorative plants, are always going to look classic and timeless in a home. These basics have stood the test of time and will continue to do so.
These are just some suggestions if you’re looking to keep your home feeling fresh and within the times, but of course it’s important to make sure your own personal style and tastes are included! One final tip is if you find yourself loving a new trend, be it a color or texture or other, try incorporating it with easily updated pieces in case your taste changes with the times.
Is Your Basement A Little Too Spooky?
Most of us don’t mind a little scare in the spirit of Halloween, but if you have a basement that’s just a little too creepy for your liking, our team can help make it a space that you want to spend time in.
Whether your basement is unfinished and you want interior paint for that more finished look, or if your basement is finished but it’s that one area in the house you haven’t updated in some time, we can give you the outcome you’re looking for.
Basements tend to be a lessor priority when it comes to home aesthetics, but updating yours can give you an entire new space in your home to enjoy in perfect time for the colder weather. Call 484-554-6207 to learn more, or visit our website here.

Havertown Interior Home Update
As we slowly make our way toward holiday shopping and the spirit of small business support, this recent job our team completed exemplifies just that.
These customers own the local Colonial Market in Havertown, where Mike happened to be doing some food shopping. After having a conversation with the owner, Todd, we learned they had recently purchased a home and were in need of interior painting.
Our team completed updates in several areas of the home, including the kitchen and dining area in Sherwin-Williams Cultured Pearl, the foyer and hallway in Casablanca, the master suite in Drift of Mist, the bathroom in Moderate white, two bedrooms in Pediment, one bedroom in Evergreen Fog, and finally, the handrail, stair treads, and front entry door frame all in Iron Ore.
We were thrilled to work with this customer from local word of mouth and help make their house a home.
"Mike and his team were excellent! They exceeded my expectations with the work they did in my house and helped make it a home. They are professional, punctual, reliable and very communicative. I 100% recommend them to anyone in need of a painting service and will definitely be using them for any future work!”
